Lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2024 Review
Welcome to my new blog post! Today, I’m reviewing the Lookfantastic Advent Calendar 2024, featuring 27 beauty products worth over £565. Let’s see what’s hidden behind each drawer.
Medik8 Press and Glow Tonic (200ml, worth £32 Full-Size) – an exfoliating toner formulated with PHA, acai extract, prickly pear extract, and aloe leaf juice. I’ve been wanting to try this product for a while, so I’m very excited that it’s included in the Lookfantastic advent calendar.
This Works Perfect Body Smoothing Wash (50ml, worth £6) – an exfoliating body wash formulated with fruit acids and PHAs. I love this product. It cleanses my skin without drying it out, and it smells lovely.
In the next window, we have two products:
- Wella Professionals Care Ultimate Repair Shampoo (100ml, worth £13) – a hair moisturising and straightening shampoo formulated with AHA, panthenol, amino acids, Omega-9, and vitamins C and E. The travel size is perfect for holidays.
- Wella Professionals Care Ultimate Repair Conditioner (75ml, worth £13) – a hair conditioner formulated to reduce the appearance of all types of hair damage. The formula is enriched with AHA, squalane, Omega-9, and amino acids.
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Eye Serum (15ml, worth £19.90 Full-Size) – an eye serum formulated with peptides, niacinamide, caffeine, and antioxidants. This product looks interesting, and I’m looking forward to trying it.
Glow Hub Gen Gleam Collagen Up Lip Gloss (3ml, worth £10 Full-Size) – a plumping lip gloss in the shade Thirsty. I love this lip gloss, the colour is so cute, and it feels very hydrating on the lips. It also has a lovely watermelon scent.
Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Body Butter (75ml, worth £21) – a body butter scented with the Cheirosa 59 fragrance. I’ve had this product in the past and found it lovely. This thick moisturiser leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth for hours, and I love the smell.
First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser (28.3g, worth £7) – a gentle face wash formulated with glycerin, sodium PCA, green tea extract, feverfew extract, liquorice extract, and allantoin. It’s a really nice, gentle cleanser for the colder months. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped or drying out my skin.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum (15ml, worth £35) – a face serum formulated with hyaluronic acid, probiotics, peptides, baobab extract, kola extract, chamomile extract, caffeine, pantethine, bisabolol, and squalane. It’s a lovely serum that feels good on my skin, leaving it hydrated, soft, and plump.
The Nue Co. SUPA_THICK Topical Scalp Serum Supplement (15ml, worth £7) – a scalp serum formulated to reduce hair loss, support hair growth, and soothe a dry scalp. The formula contains probiotics, prebiotics, lactitol, xylitol, green tea extract, bacopa extract, emblica extract, eclipta extract, larix europaea extract, rosemary leaf oil, clary oil, and peppermint oil. It is easy to wash out, makes my hair look more voluminous after use, and seems to calm my itchy scalp. Overall, I’m quite happy with it and will probably go for the full size.
Avant Skincare Pro Perfecting Collagen Touche Éclat Primer (30ml, worth £84 Full-Size) – a lightweight primer that creates a smooth canvas for makeup with a matte finish. It’s a nice face primer. It feels really good on the skin, makeup sits well, and it doesn’t budge. Honestly, I’m not particularly fond of the Avant brand, their pricing often leaves me quite confused.
Rituals Ritual of Sakura Scented Candle (140g, worth £17) – a scented candle based on the fragrance of rice milk and cherry blossom. I love receiving scented candles in advent calendars. This one smells lovely and not too strong.
Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Lotion (100ml, worth £4 Full-Size) – a moisturising body lotion formulated with oat flour, glycerin, and mineral oil. It’s a very nice daily moisturising lotion that absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling very soft and moisturised.
M.A.C Cosmetics Lustreglass Sheer-Shine Lipstick in shade 508 Hug Me (3g, worth £24 Full-Size) – a lightweight lipstick that delivers sheer and shiny colour. It goes on very smoothly and feels moisturising on my lips. I love the shade, which is perfect for everyday looks, but unfortunately, it isn’t long-lasting.
Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray (50ml, worth £12.50) – a styling treatment that protects against frizz and humidity while leaving hair silky and smooth. This product is a part of my haircare routine, so I’m happy to add another bottle to my stash. It really makes a difference, keeping my hair smooth, shiny, and manageable.

Although I’m not generally keen on facial oils, I do use them during the colder months. I mix a couple of drops with my hyaluronic acid serum in the palm of my hand.
LOOKFANTASTIC x Brushworks Satin Eye Mask in Iconic Blue (worth £7.99) – a satin eye mask in Iconic Blue colour. It’s good at keeping out the light and pretty comfortable to wear.
