Liberty The Summer Scents Kit 2026 Review
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my first thoughts on the Liberty The Summer Scents Kit, which includes 12 fragrances worth £446.
Liberty Maze Eau de Parfum (8ml) – a fragrance with top notes of bergamot, earl grey tea and neroli, heart notes of primrose, jasmine and honeysuckle, and base notes of Dreamwood®, silver birch and hawthorn.
Fabbrica Della Musa Ophera Infernal Extrait de Parfum (10ml) – a fragrance featuring top notes of pineapple and bergamot, heart notes of geranium and magnolia, and base notes of praline, cedarwood, vetiver and patchouli. I really enjoy this one. It smells like a gin and tonic with fresh lime and a touch of mint.
Escentric Molecules Cologne One Eau de Toilette (8.5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of lime, lemon, juniper berry, bergamot, ginger and mandarin, heart notes of hedione, iris and water lily, and base notes of Iso E Super, musk and amber. This is a very citrusy fragrance with a bright and refreshing opening.
Bibbi Deep Lotus Eau de Parfum (10ml) – a fragrance featuring top notes of saffron and black pepper, heart notes of blackberry, cedarwood and ylang-ylang, and base notes of labdanum, vanilla and papyrus. It’s not really my cup of tea, but the longevity is impressive.
Vyrao Ludeaux Eau de Parfum (10ml) – a fragrance with top notes of peach skin, osmanthus and ambrette, heart notes of latex, magnolia, jasmine and amyris, and base notes of ambrox, musk, tonka bean and sandalwood. I’m not usually a fan of Vyrao fragrances, and unfortunately, this one was no exception.
Abel Double Scoop Eau de Parfum (6ml) – a fragrance featuring top notes of rosemary and toasted black sesame, a heart note of butterscotch, and base notes of vanilla and musk. This 2026 release has been on my radar for a while, as I usually love sweet, lactonic fragrances. It smells lovely, and the opening instantly reminded me of peppermint ice cream.
Parfum de Marly Valaya Eau de Parfum (5ml) – a fragrance with top notes of aldehydes, white peach, bergamot, and mandarin orange; heart notes of orange blossom, lily of the valley, petalia, nympheal™, vetiver, and mahonia; and base notes of musk, ambroxan, akigalawood, and vanilla. This is a really beautiful fragrance. It feels fresh, airy, and elegant, and it’s one I genuinely enjoy wearing.
Vilhelm Parfumerie Mango Skin Eau de Parfum (10ml) – a fragrance with top notes of blackberry, mango and black pepper, heart notes of wild orris, black lotus and jasmine, and base notes of patchouli, vanilla and pink sugar. It’s an incredibly juicy, realistic mango scent, very sweet with a subtle hint of blackberry. It’s easily the best mango fragrance I’ve ever tried.
MATIERE PREMIERE Metal Lavender Eau de Parfum (6ml) – a fragrance with top notes of lavender and wild lavender, a heart note of musk and a base note of cashmeran. This is way too strong for me, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you enjoy sharp lavender scents. It does get better in the drydown, though, as the lavender softens and the musk and ozonic notes start to come through.
Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise Extrait de Parfum (7.5ml) – a fruity rose fragrance with top notes of Rosyfolia, blackcurrant, pink pepper and ginger, heart notes of rose, Petalia and jasmine sambac, and base notes of musk, Ambrofix™, Akigalawood and cedarwood.
FUGAZZI Purple Eau de Parfum (8ml) – a Liberty-exclusive fragrance featuring top notes of Veridian™ and Ambermor, a heart note of Amertonic, and base notes of Operanide and Amber Xtreme™. It’s a soft, gentle skin scent that opens with violet before settling into a clean, slightly powdery drydown, without becoming soapy or smelling like baby powder.
Santa Eulaila Citric Eau de Parfum (15ml) – a fragrance featuring top notes of petitgrain, green mandarin, cardamom and lemon, heart notes of ginger, juniper berries and bitter orange, and base notes of rose absolute, musk and bergamot. It’s a really pleasant fragrance and a perfect example of a classic citrus cologne. It doesn’t last very long and stays close to the skin after an hour or two.
