I love the Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks, so the moment I spotted their limited edition festive Candy Cane flavour, I knew I couldn’t resist trying it. Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, let me share my review of the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask in Candy Cane.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask in Candy Cane has the same formula as the other scents. It’s packed with shea butter, murumuru butter, coconut oil, a blend of synthetic and plant waxes, as well as raspberry, grape, and pomegranate juices, alongside skin-conditioning agents and emollients.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask has a thick, balmy texture that feels incredibly comfortable on the lips. It applies smoothly without feeling greasy or sticky. It does a great job of keeping my lips hydrated and soft, though it might not provide enough moisture for particularly dry lips.
I tend to apply a thick layer of the mask to my lips just before bed and leave it on overnight. It’s best to apply it about 30 minutes before going to bed, allowing it time to absorb a bit, which helps prevent any staining on white bed sheets. The mask also works well during the day thanks to its tint.
The mask has a beautiful red and white swirl design. Honestly, it was tough to ruin the swirl the first time I used it. Once the red mixes with the white, it leaves a lovely pink tint on my lips, which is very close to my natural lip colour. It also provides a slight cooling sensation when applied.
The smell of the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Candy Cane fully meets my expectations. It has a sweet and minty aroma, exactly like real candy canes. I absolutely love this smell, and it makes me feel very Christmassy.
Overall, I’m completely in love with this festive Candy Cane flavour. It smells delightful and really captures the Christmas spirit. So, if you enjoy using LANEIGE lip masks, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this one a try!
