ISNtree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick SPF 50 Review
In this review, I’m taking a quick look at the ISNtree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick SPF 50 that I’ve been testing lately. I’ll share my experience with it and whether it has lived up to my expectations.
The formula includes homosalate (which protects the skin against UVB rays), ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (also known as octinoxate, which helps protect the skin against UVB rays), bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (also known as Tinosorb S, which covers the whole UVB and UVA range), diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate (also known as Uvinul A Plus, which protects the skin against UVA rays), and ethylhexyl salicylate (also known as octisalate, which protects against UVB rays).
Additionally, the formula contains a blend of 8-layer hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, glycerin, crystalline iceplant extract, hibiscus extract, brown algae extract, and David elm extract to hydrate the skin. Niacinamide, astaxanthin, maritime pine extract, brown algae extract, yam root extract, viola extract, and David elm extract provide antioxidant protection. A blend of adenosine, niacinamide, bamboo water, aloe extract, and yam root extract soothes the skin, while ceramides reinforce the skin’s barrier strength.
The ISNtree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick SPF 50 has a nice teardrop shape that helps reach all face areas. It makes it easy to use around the contours of my nose and under the eyes.
I’m not considering sun sticks as my main form of sun protection. They are designed for easy reapplication while on the go. Sun sticks fit easily into your bag and let you reapply SPF without leaving your hands greasy. However, because of their texture and shape, it’s easy to miss spots or end up with less coverage, so I always begin with a proper layer of my regular sunscreen.
The ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick SPF 50 has a very lovely, soft powdery texture that doesn’t feel greasy or sticky on the skin. It glides on smoothly, making it easy to apply. I also loved the finish, which is neither super matte nor overly dewy, and the product leaves no white cast. It sinks into the skin within minutes and becomes barely noticeable.
For reference, my skin is combination and tends to break out during warmer weather and around my period. This product doesn’t break me out, and it never irritates my skin or stings my eyes.
To sum up, the ISNtree Hyaluronic Acid Airy Sun Stick SPF 50+ lived up to my expectations. It’s a decent sun stick that’s convenient for reapplication throughout the day, which is exactly what I was looking for.
WHERE TO SHOP:
This one looks interesting, thanks for posting. I found the Tocobo one hard to apply and the Abib one way too oily, so I’m still on the hunt for the ideal sun stick.
