Holifrog Solar Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Review
This time, I’m taking a quick look at the Holifrog Solar Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30. After putting it to the test, I’m ready to share my thoughts and whether it lived up to my expectations.
The active ingredient in this mineral sunscreen is zinc oxide (13%). It also contains a blend of emollients, including watermelon seed oil, Kakadu plum oil, lecithin, phytosterols, linoleic acid, and milk thistle extract, to soften the skin and help prevent moisture loss. Aloe leaf juice, green tea extract, spiraea ulmaria extract, and bisabolol soothe the skin. Additionally, a blend of glycerin, apple extract, aloe leaf juice, sodium gluconate, phytosterols, and coconut water hydrates the skin. A further blend of apple extract, green tea extract, milk thistle extract, spiraea ulmaria extract, garden cress extract, artichoke leaf extract, bisabolol, and Kakadu plum oil provides antioxidant protection.
Holifrog Solar Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF30 has a creamy texture with a slight tint. It’s too greasy, feels extremely heavy on my combination skin, and doesn’t absorb properly.
I’m also really disappointed with this because it pills so badly, no matter how I apply it. I’ve tried using it with moisturiser and without, tried different moisturisers, waited an hour after applying my skincare, and used less makeup, but it still pills. Honestly, it’s one of the most pilling SPFs I’ve ever used.
For reference, I have combination skin that tends to break out during warmer weather and around my period. This product does not break me out. It is also gentle on my sensitive eyes. I can apply it near my eye area without stinging or watering.
To be honest, I didn’t enjoy using the Holifrog Solar Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 at all. It’s one of the most disappointing SPFs I’ve tried in a while, and I won’t be repurchasing it.

Thanks for the honest review. I think I got a full size one a couple of years ago in one of Cult Beauty’s edits and didn’t like it either.
