Glossier Deodorant You Review
Today, I want to share my experience with the Glossier Deodorant You, an aluminium-free deodorant stick infused with the brand’s signature You fragrance. Now, let’s get started and learn more about this product.

The formula contains potato starch, magnesium hydroxide, and zinc ricinoleate to absorb moisture and neutralise odour-causing bacteria. A blend of emollients, including coconut oil, sunflower seed wax, safflower and sunflower seed oils, works to soften, condition, and moisturise the skin. Additionally, elderberry extract provides anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
The Glossier Deodorant You has a smooth, creamy texture that glides on easily. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy. The deodorant doesn’t leave a white cast as long as you don’t overapply it (1-2 swipes is enough). Applying too much may result in staining your clothes.
Scent-wise, it’s meant to smell like the original Glossier You, featuring notes of pink pepper, ambrox, iris, and ambrette. I love the original fragrance, and while the deodorant smells pleasant, it’s not exactly the same scent. Also, it’s much more subtle.
I have sensitive skin, and since my underarms can’t tolerate sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), I stick to deodorants that don’t contain it. This works well for day-to-day use, doesn’t irritate my skin, and doesn’t cause breakouts.
I’m not a heavy sweater, and I don’t usually use natural deodorants for the gym. I find that the Glossier Deodorant You doesn’t really hold up during workouts, outdoor activities, or in the summer heat. Overall, it’s an okay deodorant for me. Nothing special, but not bad either.
As you can see from the picture, I’m a big fan of the brand, especially the Body Hero сollection. That said, the Glossier Deodorant You didn’t really win me over. It’s a nice deodorant, and I like the fact that it’s refillable, but I still lean more towards SDJ’s deodorants. So, I don’t see myself repurchasing it.
