Glossier Crème de You Review
Welcome back to another review. Today I’m talking about the Glossier Crème de You, a luxurious body cream scented with Glossier’s signature You fragrance. Let’s find out if it’s worth adding to your routine.
The Glossier You fragrance has notes of pink pepper, ambrox, iris, and ambrette. I was hoping the cream’s scent would be close to the fragrance, but unfortunately, it’s not quite the same. The scent is noticeable and nice, but it just doesn’t meet my expectations.
The texture of the Glossier Crème de You is thick and creamy. It glides on easily and feels comfortable on the skin. It does need a bit of rubbing in, but it absorbs nicely without leaving my skin feeling sticky or greasy. I like to apply it right after I get out of the shower to lock in moisture. I wouldn’t call this the most moisturising cream, but it provides enough hydration for daily use. Sometimes it also pills when layered with body oil.
To sum it up, the Glossier Crème de You is a nice product that I’ve enjoyed using. I just expected it to smell a bit more like the original Glossier You fragrance, so I don’t think I’d repurchase it.
