This time, I want to share my review of the FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips. This microcurrent device was developed to firm, lift, contour, and improve fine lines around the mouth and eyes. Curious to find out more? Keep on reading.
FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips – a massaging microcurrent device that boosts microcirculation and lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness, smooths fine lines, and firms the skin. As one of the most powerful eye devices, it uses up to 270 uA of microcurrent (microamps) to stimulate facial muscles. It also features an Anti-Shock System 2.0 that measures the skin’s reaction 200 times per second to adjust the microcurrent intensity for maximum safety and optimal results. Additionally, the device uses T-sonic pulsations to enhance facial massage benefits.
FOREO claims that BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips provides several benefits:

For beginners, FOREO offers two fully guided treatments for the areas around the eyes and mouth through the app’s Treatments tab. Once you know the moves, you can use the Smart Control tab to customise device settings based on personal preference. In the Smart Control tab, you can:
- Adjust the intensity of T-Sonic pulsation from 1 to 5 levels or turn it off.
- Choose from 5 different massage patterns.
- Adjust the microcurrent intensity from 1 to 10 levels.
- Select from 2 microcurrent modes.
Here’s a breakdown of the different massage patterns and their benefits:
- Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Encourages the lymph fluids to circulate through the body. Good for around the eyes and under the jawline.
- Deep Tissue Massage: Uses deep pressure at slow intervals to relieve tension in facial muscles. Good for cheeks and above jawline.
- MA Trigger Point Massage: Uses alternating levels of pressure to relieve tightness in muscle tissue. Good for the neck.
- Shiatsu Massage: Uses pulsing pressure to promote emotional & physical calm, and improve fatigue. Good for forehead & temples.
- Reflexology Massage: Uses gentle to firm pressure to relax or restore natural energy levels. Good for center of eyebrows & around the mouth.
The two microcurrent modes are:

The treatment is completely painless and doesn’t cause irritation. You might feel some tingling or facial twitching from the microcurrent, which is normal. I simply reduce the intensity whenever I feel any twitching, and the sensation goes away. Even though I’m familiar with microcurrents, the highest setting was too much for me when I first started, and I could only tolerate about half of the maximum. Now that I’m used to the FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips, I set it to 7-8 each time.
Like all microcurrent devices, the FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips must be used with a conductive serum or gel. For this purpose, FOREO offers its own Supercharged Eye and Lip Contour Booster. It contains a blend of niacinamide, panthenol, caffeine, allantoin, cranberry extract, and cabbage rose flower water, but at £52.90, it is quite pricey. Instead, you can use any oil-free, water-based gel or serum, such as aloe vera gel, hyaluronic acid, ultrasound gel, etc. One issue I’ve noticed is that some gels tend to dry out too quickly, which can cause a prickly feeling. To avoid this, I apply a thick layer of gel to each area just before treating it and spritz it with a mist during the process.
I already own the larger BEAR and enjoy using it, so I was very excited about FOREO’s new device. The FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips has smaller microcurrent spheres designed to treat the delicate areas around the eyes more effectively. I think both devices complement each other well, and I use them in conjunction.
The larger BEAR for the cheekbones, forehead, and jawline, and the smaller one for the eyes and lips. I’ve been using the FOREO BEAR 2 for Eyes and Lips for about 4 months, and I noticed toning and depuffing results from the very first use. While it’s safe to be used daily, to be honest, I’m not that organised, so I make sure to use the device at least 3 to 5 times a week. After each use, my eyes look brighter, and my eyebrows are nicely lifted. The lines around my eyes are less noticeable. I also use it around my mouth, and I have noticed that the contours around my lips are plumper, and the lines are less visible.
As you can see from the picture above, I have several FOREO devices in my skincare routine. I use them regularly and find them effective, durable, and user-friendly. I’m really happy that the FOREO BEAR 2 Facial Toning Device for Eyes and Lips has become a part of my collection.
