Fenty Skin Butta Drop Body Cream in Guava Getaway Review
I’m back with another review, and this time I’m talking about the Fenty Skin Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream in Guava Getaway. As some of you may know, this has been one of my favourite body butters for winter, and I always look forward to trying limited-edition scents.
The formula contains a blend of emollients, including coconut oil, rice bran oil, shea butter, mango seed butter, watermelon seed oil, hibiscus seed oil, baobab seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and jojoba seed oil, to help reduce moisture loss and dryness, soften the skin, and support normal skin barrier function. Also, a blend of humectants, including glycerin, aloe vera leaf juice, and hyaluronic acid, helps maintain skin hydration. Additionally, acerola extract, plumeria extract, baobab extract, rice bran oil, hibiscus seed oil, jojoba seed oil, baobab seed oil, watermelon seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and vitamin E provide antioxidant protection.
Fenty Skin Butta Drop Body Cream in Guava Getaway has the same luxurious, rich texture. It spreads easily and feels slightly oily at first, which is why I prefer to use it at night. However, for such a thick body butter, it absorbs quite quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue. Because of its thick texture, a little goes a long way, too. The Guava Getaway scent is absolutely amazing. It has a beautiful tropical, fruity smell that isn’t overpowering. It’s so good that I can’t help but keep smelling myself.
The Butta Drop is my go-to body butter when the weather gets colder, and it does a great job of keeping my skin soft and well moisturised throughout the day. I also love the luminous, healthy-looking finish it gives my skin. While it can be too much for summer, I genuinely think it’s one of the best body butters for dry skin, especially during the winter months.
All in all, the Fenty Skin Butta Drop Body Cream in Guava Getaway certainly lived up to my expectations. It has everything I love about the original body butter, with a gorgeous scent that makes it even better.
