Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak and Skin Nourishing Bath Milk Review
Today I’m sharing my review of two Elemis bath products: the Aching Muscle Super Soak and the Skin Nourishing Bath Milk. After trying both, I’m ready to share my thoughts on whether they’re worth keeping in my bath routine.
Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak
The Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak is a soothing bath soak designed to help ease muscle tension and tightness, leaving your body feeling relaxed and comfortable. I’ve enjoyed using this product, but I do find it a bit pricey for what it is. I wouldn’t say it’s the most effective product I’ve tried for aching muscles, as I get pretty much the same results from Epsom salts.
That said, it feels luxurious, creates plenty of bubbles, and has a lovely herbal scent of rosemary, thyme, and clove. It really does make my bathroom smell like a spa.

The formula contains sea salt to help soften the skin and improve circulation, alongside a blend of aromatic essential oils, including lavender, rosemary, clove, juniper berry, thyme, sage, camphor, eucalyptus, and chamomile, to promote relaxation. Additionally, menthol, methyl salicylate, and eucalyptus leaf oil provide a refreshing, slightly cooling sensation and may help reduce muscle soreness.

Elemis Skin Nourishing Bath Milk
The Elemis Skin Nourishing Bath Milk is an enriching bathing milk, so don’t expect a Hollywood-style bubble bath. That’s not what it’s about. Much like Cleopatra’s legendary milk baths, it’s designed to moisturise, soothe, and soften the skin, and it definitely does. It feels so calming, and I love how soft and smooth my skin feels afterwards. It also smells absolutely divine. I like how its light, fresh scent fills the bathroom without being overpowering. It’s such a lovely product for a relaxing bath, especially in winter.

The formula contains a blend of emollients, including sweet almond oil, camellia seed oil, squalane, jojoba seed oil, macadamia seed oil, and milk lipids, to help soften and smooth the skin while reducing moisture loss. Also, a blend of humectants, including glycerin and alpha-glucan oligosaccharide, helps improve skin hydration and softness, while calcium caseinate, milk protein, and oat kernel extract provide additional skin-conditioning benefits.
Milk-derived ingredients (calcium caseinate, milk protein, and milk lipids) help soften the skin and reduce moisture loss. Additionally, oat kernel extract and chamomile extract help soothe the skin.
