Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum Review
Today, I want to share my experience with the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum, a fast-absorbing eye serum formulated with encapsulated retinol, ferulic acid, and bakuchiol. Let’s dive into the details and learn more about this product.
The formula contains trans-retinol, encapsulated retinol, and bakuchiol to smooth texture, fade dark spots, and boost collagen. It also contains a blend of coenzyme Q10, ferulic acid, quercetin, soy isoflavones, hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, caffeine, and Centella Asiatica extract to provide antioxidant protection. Additionally, a blend of saccharide isomerate, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, phospholipids, soy isoflavones, and glycerin hydrates the skin. Quercetin, panthenol, adenosine, green tea extract, and centella asiatica extract soothe the skin. A blend of adenosine, tetrapeptide-21, and rambutan extract minimises wrinkles, while caffeine helps to reduce the appearance of puffiness.
This product contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. Daily sunscreen use is recommended, whether or not this product is used every day.
The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum has a thick gel texture and doesn’t have any scent. It spreads easily on the skin and sinks in quickly, leaving no sticky residue. It also never irritates my skin or stings my eyes. Just half a pump is enough, so a little goes a long way. I use it every other day, as I do with all retinoid products.
It’s the first time I’ve bought the serum since they changed the formula and packaging. It no longer comes in a glass bottle. I find the new packaging is way better, as the pump now works smoothly and doesn’t clog up every once in a while like the old one did.
The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum works really well for me, though the results weren’t immediate. Don’t expect to see overnight changes, but with regular use, you can likely notice an improvement after 4 to 6 weeks. For me, it improves my fine lines, and while they aren’t completely gone, they’re definitely reduced. The serum improves the brightness of my under-eye area, makes my skin firmer, more toned, and reduces puffiness.
I also found that it’s not moisturising enough for me, especially during the winter months. Therefore, if you have dry skin around the eyes, you may want to layer additional moisturising eye cream on top. I prefer to let it absorb and wait for about half an hour before applying moisturising eye cream.
To sum up, the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum is a great product that I really enjoy using. The only downside, obviously, is the price, so I’ll try to repurchase it with a discount.
