Cult Beauty x Glow Recipe Edit 2024 Review

Cult Beauty x Glow Recipe Edit 2024 Review

This time I’d like to take a closer look at the Cult Beauty x Glow Recipe Edit 2024. This edit features 6 products from Glow Recipe with a total value of over £97.00. Below, I’ll showcase its contents along with my brief reviews.

Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser

Glow Recipe Avocado Ceramide Moisture Barrier Cleanser (50ml, worth £12.66) – a gentle, hydrating cleanser packed with ceramides, colloidal oatmeal, hyaluronic acid, avocado oil, arginine, phytosphingosine, prebiotics, and postbiotics to nourish the skin and support the skin barrier. It’s a really nice hydrating cleanser – a product that leaves my skin feeling clean and soft without drying it out.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer (25ml, worth £19.50) – a lightweight gel moisturiser to hydrate and soothe the skin. The formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, glutamic acid, watermelon extract, licorice extract, broccoli extract, batatas extract, blueberry extract, Baikal skullcap extract, strawberry extract, pear extract, melon extract, apricot kernel amino acids, and hydrolyzed soy & wheat protein. I’ve tried this moisturiser before. It’s lightweight yet hydrating, which makes it ideal for the warmer months, especially for people with oily or combination skin. However, it may not work well for those with very dry skin. Additionally, I found it to be a little sticky.

Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops

Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops (5ml) – a hybrid primer to prolong makeup wear, balance oil for a natural, soft-focus satin finish, and refine pores. The formula is enriched with tapioca starch, strawberry leaf extract, mattifying polymers, hyaluronic acid, and bisabolol. I’ve shared my thoughts on this product in a review before. While it does help control oiliness and extend makeup wear, I’ve found that it doesn’t have much of a blurring effect.

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Gloss Balm

Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Gloss Balm (15g, worth £19.89) – a gloss balm infused with hyaluronic acid, raspberry extract, Kakadu plum extract, and Chinese plum extract. It feels nice on my lips and lasts long without being sticky, but it doesn’t deliver much of a plumping effect.

Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner

Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner (5ml) – a concentrated essence toner featuring cloudberry, a superfruit rich in vitamin C, along with CoQ10, collagen amino acids, oat amino acids, cholesterol, cloudberry seed oil, rice bran extract, broccoli extract, Baikal skullcap extract, buchu extract, liquorice extract, and blackcurrant extract. I’ve been wanting to test this product for quite some time, so I’m excited it’s included in the edit!

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Bright-Eye Gel Cream (15ml, worth £34.35) – a gentle brightening eye cream designed to visibly reduce dark circles, hydrate, and depuff the entire eye area. It features a 10% encapsulated vitamin C complex, a niacinamide blend, and peptides. The formula is also enriched with caffeine, hyaluronic acid, guava extract, apple extract, banana extract, pear extract, apricot extract, raspberry extract, jojoba seed oil, guava seed oil, and moringa seed oil. The texture is lightweight, creamy, and non-greasy, making it perfect for my morning routine. However, I hate the packaging, as the pump breaks easily.
