Cult Beauty The Travel Essentials Edit 2024 Review

I’m back with a quick review of the Cult Beauty Travel Essentials Edit 2024, which was released earlier this month. This edit features 14 products worth over £195, and today I’ll show you its contents along with my thoughts.

Decree SOS Revitalising Mask

Decree SOS Revitalising Mask (single mask worth £20.00) – a sheet mask enriched with rose flower water, 4% niacinamide, aloe extract, centella asiatica extract, licorice extract, portulaca extract, panthenol, trehalose, hyaluronic acid, silk amino acids, and apricot kernel oil. With its impressive reviews, I’m excited to try this product.

Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse

Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse (40ml worth £9) – a foaming cleansing gel enriched with a blend of AHAs and BHAs, raspberry extract, yucca extract, and mangosteen extract. I’ve used this product before and found that it makes my skin feel clean without drying or stripping it. The cleanser is not harsh, and it has a nice subtle scent.

OUAI Leave In Conditioner

OUAI Leave In Conditioner (25ml worth £8) – a leave-in conditioner that helps to detangle while protecting hair from heat damage. It contains baobab oil, argan oil, evening primrose oil, conditioning agents, antistatics, sodium pca, sodium lactate, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, hydrolyzed pea protein, tamarind extract, and algae extract. I’ve been using this product for years and absolutely love it. The leave-in conditioner easily detangles my hair after washing and leaves it soft, shiny, and silky. Additionally, it has a wonderful scent that lingers on the hair.

COOLA Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 50

COOLA Classic Face Sunscreen SPF 50 (25ml) – a lightweight facial sunscreen formulated with Avobenzone (for UVA protection), Homosalate (for UVB protection), Octisalate (for UVB protection), and Octocrylene (for UVB and some UVA II protection). The formula also includes aloe leaf juice, camelina seed oil, safflower seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, buriti oil, raspberry seed oil, and prickly pear extract. While it leaves no cast or greasy feeling on the skin, it’s not my favourite sunscreen.

Sunday Riley Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream

Sunday Riley Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream (8ml) – an eye cream that brightens and visibly firms the delicate eye area, imparting a lifted look. It contains a blend of shea butter, cocoa seed butter, horse chestnut extract, apple extract, sodium PCA, sodium lactate, marigold extract, white lily extract, Brazilian ginseng extract, muira puama bark extract, watermelon extract, and caffeine. I’ve been looking forward to trying this product for a while now, so I’m really excited it’s included in the edit!

LANIEGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser Cream

LANIEGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser Cream (10ml) – a hydrating cream that restores skin moisture barrier, making it feel soft and smooth. The formula is enriched with squalane, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, probiotics, fatty acids, wakame extract, ceramides, and glycerin. Having used this product before, I absolutely love how lightweight yet hydrating it is. The cream keeps my skin feeling well-moisturised and plump all day.

Lanolips Tinted Lanolin Lip Balm SPF30 in Rhubarb

Lanolips Tinted Lanolin Lip Balm SPF30 in Rhubarb (12.5g worth £8.99) – a tinted lip balm formulated with Octocrylene (which protects against UVB rays and some UVA II rays), Avobenzone (which protects against UVA rays), Octinoxate (which helps protect against UVB rays), and Oxybenzone (which protects against UVB and short UVA rays). The formula also includes lanolin, cocoa seed butter, shea butter, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, and coconut oil. I’ve been using Lanolips products for years, but I haven’t tried their tinted balms, so I’m happy to see it featured in the beauty box.

amika The Kure Intense Bond Repair Mask

amika The Kure Intense Bond Repair Mask (30ml) – an ultra-moisturising hair mask that repairs, hydrates, strengthens, and improves the manageability of the hair. The formula is enriched with panthenol, sea buckthorn oil, borago oil, mango butter, shea butter, hydrolyzed quinoa, antistatic agents, and hair conditioner agents. I’ve tried this mask before and found it to be quite nice. The mask left my hair feeling smooth, soft, and shiny without weighing it down.

Avène Hyaluron Activ B3 Concentrated Plumping Serum

Avène Hyaluron Activ B3 Concentrated Plumping Serum (10ml) – an intensely hydrating facial serum with niacinamide (6%), hyaluronic acid (1.5%), and adenosine. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m happy to have received it in the beauty box.

Molton Brown Costal Cypress & Sea Fennel Bath and Shower Gel

Molton Brown Costal Cypress & Sea Fennel Bath and Shower Gel (30ml) – a bath and shower gel featuring notes of Australian sea fennel and salted cypress. I love fragranced bath products, so I’m always happy to receive Molton Brown’s shower gels in beauty boxes. I hadn’t tried this scent before and found it refreshing and invigorating.

Biossance Squalane + Hyaluronic Toning Mist

Biossance Squalane + Hyaluronic Toning Mist (30ml) – a refreshing and lightweight mist that hydrates and balances the skin. The formula contains squalane, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, green algae extract, apple extract, and lysine. I use a hydrating mist after washing and drying my face to help absorb my serums better. Though I’m not particularly fond of the scent, I like the fine mist application and how it feels on my skin, providing extra hydration.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (28g worth £26.00) – a hydrating mask that restores tired or stressed skin, giving it a refreshed, radiant look. The formula is enriched with shea butter, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, phytosphingosine, cholesterol, allantoin, bisabolol, panthenol, chestnut extract, cucumber extract, and physalis angulata extract. It’s a nice face mask; my skin feels soft and hydrated after using it. Although I enjoyed using this mask, I’m unlikely to repurchase it as there are other masks on the market that offer better hydration.

Augustinus Bader The Eye Patches

Augustinus Bader The Eye Patches (1 pair worth £18.00) – hydrogel patches that help reduce puffiness and hydrate the skin.  The formula features TFC8®, allantoin, niacinamide, panthenol, adenosine, hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed rice protein, shea butter, green tea extract, squalane, and ceramides. After just one use, I noticed a clear difference – my under-eye area felt well-moisturised, smooth, plump, and less puffy.

Cult Beauty Cobalt Blue Travel Organiser Bag

Cult Beauty Cobalt Blue Travel Organiser Bag (worth £20.00) – a branded limited edition travel bag. The bag is spacious and pretty compact at the same time. I found it quite handy, and I love its colour.
