Cult Beauty The Skin Essentials Edit 2024 Review

Cult Beauty The Rest & Reset Kit 2024 Review

This time, I would like to share a brief review of Cult Beauty The Skin Essentials Edit 2024. When Cult Beauty announced the release of their two new skincare edits, I knew I couldn’t resist getting one. Fortunately, I managed to do so despite the quick sold-out. This Essentials edit is worth over £224.00, with a price of £45, and it includes seven products which I’ll show you below.

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (20g worth £13.00) – a nourishing cleansing balm that effortlessly melts away makeup, daily pollutants, and impurities. Its formula, enriched with almond oil, elderberry seed oil, oat oil, wheat germ oil, shea butter, borago oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil, and algae extract, ensures a gentle yet thorough cleanse. As a fan of Elemis cleansing balms, I appreciate how this one leaves my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated, without drying out my skin, and its fragrance is absolutely divine.

Ren Clean Skincare Perfect Canvas Smooth, Prep and Plump Essence

Ren Clean Skincare Perfect Canvas Smooth, Prep and Plump Essence (100ml worth £43) – a hydrating essence enriched with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, white horehound extract, and polyglutamic acid. This one is new to me, and it’s a very nice product. The essence has a slightly thick, serum-like texture that quickly sinks in, leaving my skin hydrated.

Cult Beauty Dual Sided Face Cloth

Cult Beauty Dual Sided Face Cloth (single worth £5) – a face cloth with two different textures: muslin on one side and microfiber on the other. It’s a good-quality cloth, quite soft, and large enough.

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum

Glow Recipe Guava Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum (30ml worth £41) – a potent, visibly brightening serum that reduces the appearance of dark spots with five forms of vitamin C, guava, and tranexamic and ferulic acids for visibly glowing, even-toned skin. I was drawn to this box for one reason: this serum. It not only smells and feels fantastic but also enhances my skin’s glow, helps even out the tone, and tackles spots effectively.

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturising Cream

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturising Cream (50g worth £60.00) – a pro-ceramide moisturiser that strengthens the natural moisture barrier against environmental stressors for plump-looking, baby-soft skin. It contains squalane, lanolin, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, fatty acids, algae extract, sweet almond extract, beet extract, apricot extract, anise extract, raspberry extract, melon extract, pineapple extract, phytosphingosine, cholesterol. I’ve given this face cream a try before. Its rich and thick consistency blends into the skin smoothly without being tacky. I believe it’s best suited for people with dry or normal skin. As for me, with my combination skin, I’ve been using it as a neck cream.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum

Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum(3ml worth £85.00) – a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid. I love this serum, it provides intense hydration, making my skin look plump and full. I already received the same tiny sample from Cult Beauty’s Advent Calendar, it really contains only 3ml of product. However, it may last about a week.

Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment

Allies of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment (12ml, travel size) – a daily moisturiser, enriched with multiple Peptides, 7 Brighteners, 8 Antioxidants, and a 3% Teprenone Complex. These ingredients combine to deliver five key benefits: hydration, firmness, refinement, antioxidant protection, and skin brightening. This moisturiser features a delightful, velvet-like texture that feels wonderful on the skin. It does make my skin look brighter and hydrated, leaving me with a glowy, healthy-looking complexion. However, It has a slightly odd smell.
