Cult Beauty The Rest & Reset Kit 2024 Review

Cult Beauty The Rest & Reset Kit 2024 Review

Today, I’m going to review the Cult Beauty The Rest & Reset Kit 2024. This is a 10-piece kit worth over £149.00, which was recently gifted with a £75 purchase at Cult Beauty. I’ve already got my hands on it, so let’s explore its contents in more detail. Plus, I’ll show my purchases below.

MZ Skin Anti-Pollution Illuminating Eye Mask

MZ Skin Anti-Pollution Illuminating Eye Mask (single mask, worth £22.00) – an eye mask,  designed to offer a cooling and detoxifying treatment specifically for the delicate eye area, while also protecting against environmental damage. The formula is infused with a blend of panthenol, algae, peony, centella asiatica, chamomile, phytoplacenta, licorice, and cotton extracts, as well as hyaluronic acid, glycosaminoglycans, pea protein, and peptides (acetyl tetrapeptide-5). This product is effective at depuffing; within about 10 minutes of application, my under-eye area appears noticeably fresher, smoother, and plumper. However, I’m still unsure if these eye masks are worth the cost for me.

Hair by Sam McKnight Deeper Love Intense Treatment Mask

Hair by Sam McKnight Deeper Love Intense Treatment Mask (50ml Travel Size worth £22) – a hair mask designed to improve the strength and elasticity of hair, and leave the strands looking shinier and healthier while reducing frizz and static. The formula is enriched with sunflower seed oil, shea butter, hydrolyzed wheat protein, hydrolyzed corn protein, hydrolyzed soy protein, marsh mallow extract, hoya extract, Crodabond™ complex, and RepHair®. I would say it’s an average hair mask. I like its light texture and how it makes my hair soft without weighing it down. However, result-wise, it didn’t wow me. There are other products that do the job better.

Algenist Algae Peptide Regenerative Moisturiser

Algenist Algae Peptide Regenerative Moisturiser (10ml Deluxe Size worth £15.00) – a daily gel-cream, peptide-rich moisturiser that nourishes and visibly plumps, firms, and smooths skin for a dewy glow. The formula is enriched with shea butter, meadowfoam oil, white agaric (mushroom) extract, alguronic acid, algae extract, milk thistle extract, peptides (palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), vitamin C, biotin. Seeing the impressive reviews, I’m excited to try this one.

Kopari Body Bumps Be Gone

Kopari Body Bumps Be Gone (60ml Deluxe Size worth £14.00) – a vegan body scrub treatment that gently yet effectively reduces the appearance of dry, rough patches and keratosis pilaris (KP). Its formula includes 5.5% Glycolic Acid and 4.5% Lactic Acid, alongside physical exfoliants like volcanic sand, fine coconut shells, and pumice. Additionally, it contains oat extract, licorice extract, green tea extract, and jojoba seed oil. While the scent is not great, it’s effective for reducing keratosis pilaris on the legs.

Cerave Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser (50ml Deluxe Size worth £2.00) – a face cleanser formulated with hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides and does not disrupt the skin’s natural barrier. It’s a gentle yet effective hydrating cleanser, which leaves my face clean without stripping it.

Vida Glow 6 Day Marine Collagen Sample Pack

Vida Glow 6 Day Marine Collagen Sample Pack (6 servings, worth £8.00) – a marine collagen supplement made from sustainably sourced fish skin. Marine Collagen helps to increase collagen formation, which promotes hair elongation, nail strength, and firmer skin. The pack contains 6 servings to experience 3 different flavours of Vida Glow. It can be mixed into any drink of your choice.

Drunk Elephant Wonderwild Miracle Butter

Drunk Elephant Wonderwild Miracle Butter (5ml Deluxe Size worth £2.00) – a nourishing salve designed to rescue and soothe dry, chapped, irritated, or compromised skin, aiding in the skin’s natural healing process. It contains a rich blend of marula oil, coconut oil, pumpkin seed oil, shea butter, mango seed butter, capuaçu butter, camellia oil, rosehip oil, jojoba oil, rice bran oil, avocado oil, grape seed oil, candlenut oil, and meadowfoam seed oil. It’s a nice multi-purpose salve, I use it for areas like my lips, cuticles, elbows, and on eczema spots. Although it has a greasy texture, it’s quite helpful for dry and cracked skin, especially during the cold months.

SISLEY-PARIS Black Rose Cream Mask

SISLEY-PARIS Black Rose Cream Mask (10ml Deluxe Size worth £22.00) – a cream mask formulated to immediately give the complexion a more youthful appearance. It hydrates the skin, helping to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. This mask is a pleasure to use, gliding on effortlessly, and it leaves the skin feeling richly nourished and luminous, resulting in a plumped and moisturised appearance.

Sol de Janerio Beija Flor Elasti-Cream

Sol de Janerio Beija Flor Elasti-Cream (25ml Deluxe Size worth £7.00) – a moisturising, collagen-rich cream designed to enhance the skin’s elasticity. Infused with plant-based collagen and cacay oil, a gentle alternative to retinol, this Sol de Janeiro cream is designed to promote natural cell turnover and collagen production while delivering intense hydration. Furthermore, it contains plant-based squalane to hydrate and plump the skin, preventing moisture loss. The formula is also enriched with emollients, apple extract, carrot extract, rice bran extract, coconut oil, shea butter, cupuaçu butter, tucumã oil, murumuru butter, and sunflower oil. This body cream I’m truly happy to receive. It’s a beautiful moisturiser that leaves my skin hydrated and smooth. And it has a lovely long-lasting Cheirosa 68 scent that I’m a fan of.

L’Occitaine Shea Butter Hand Cream

L’Occitaine Shea Butter Hand Cream (150ml Full Size worth £22.00) – a luxurious hand cream enriched with 20% shea butter, designed to moisturise and shield the skin from dryness. Additionally, the formula is enriched with argan oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil. I’ve been using this cream for years, especially in the winter months, as it’s one of my go-to products for its nourishing and hydrating properties. I particularly appreciate its thick texture, which is surprisingly non-greasy.

Cult Beauty Black Pouch

Cult Beauty Black Pouch (worth £12.00) – a small branded makeup bag from Cult Beauty. It’s a nice bag, perfect for traveling. Despite its small size, it has a lot of room.
