Cult Beauty The Prep And Set Edit 2025 Review
I recently got my hands on the Cult Beauty The Prep And Set Edit 2025 , and today I want to give you a quick review. This limited-edition set is worth over £120 and features 6 products, which I’ll showcase below.
Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Hydrating Setting Spray (30ml, worth £14.00) – a setting spray formulated with hyaluronic acid, glycerin, aloe juice, and lingonberry extract. It really does keep my makeup in place all day and gives a nice glowy finish, but personally, I would prefer a finer mist.
Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturiser (15ml) – a lightweight gel moisturiser packed with peptides (hexapeptide-5, oligopeptide-1, tridecapeptide-1), apple extract, carrageenan moss extract, lecithin, squalane, glycerin, vitamin B12, and hyaluronic acid. The moisturiser looks promising, and I’m looking forward to trying it.
Saie Glowy Super Gel in Starglow (15ml) – a lightweight, multipurpose illuminator designed to hydrate and brighten the skin for a fresh, dewy look. This is a really lovely product I enjoy using. It gives my skin a natural glow without feeling heavy or greasy, and it’s a perfect base for my makeup.
Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector in Cherry Blossom (9ml, worth £26.00 Full Size) – a lightweight colour corrector designed to visibly brighten, even, and correct the under-eye area. The formula claims to be crease-proof, sweat-proof, and transfer-proof, blending seamlessly into the skin for a natural finish. Given all the positive reviews, I’m looking forward to trying it.
Laura Mercier Mini Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra Blur in Translucent (6g, worth £23.00) – a talc-free loose setting powder with an ultra-blurring, soft-matte finish. I love this powder, it keeps my makeup on for so long while blurring pores and fine lines. It looks very soft and natural, without making my skin look too matte or flat.
Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Primer (10ml, worth £24.00) – a translucent skin-perfecting primer that smooths, absorbs shine, and adds a visibly blurred, airbrushed finish while extending makeup wear. It’s an amazing primer that makes my makeup stay put all day. The formula is silky smooth and glides onto the skin easily. It doesn’t pill, feel drying or look cakey. It smooths the texture of my skin so nicely and sits well under foundation.
