Cult Beauty The Play & Pamper Edit 2024 Review

Cult Beauty The Play & Pamper Edit 2024 Review

In today’s post, I’m sharing a quick review of the Cult Beauty Play & Pamper Edit 2024, which includes 11 products worth over £210. I’ll go over the contents and share my thoughts on each item.

Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream (7.5ml) –  a retinol-infused night cream designed to enhance firmness and radiance, soften lines and deep wrinkles, even out skin tone, and deliver intense hydration. The formula blends niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, polyglucuronic acid, trehalose, betaine, yeast extract, soybean extract, wild yam extract, swertia extract, and amino acids. Given all the positive reviews, I’m excited to try it out.

Philip Kingsley Elasti-Styler 5-in-1 Treatment

Philip Kingsley Elasti-Styler 5-in-1 Treatment (40ml) – a styling treatment that boosts shine, reduces frizz, conditions, primes hair for styling, tames, and smooths. It’s a really good anti-frizz product and works well for my fine hair.

OLAPLEX Volumising Blow Dry Mist

OLAPLEX Volumising Blow Dry Mist (150ml, worth £28.00 Full Size) – a volumising spray that protects hair against heat up to 230°C (450°F) and provides lasting body and bounce. I love OLAPLEX, and this product is my absolute go-to, so I’m happy to receive it. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and it gives my hair lasting volume.

Benefit They’re Real Lengthening Mascara in Black

Benefit They’re Real Lengthening Mascara in Black (3g) – a lash-thickening mascara for bigger, bolder lashes. It’s not my favourite mascara from the brand, but it is still nice and makes my lashes look fuller and longer.

Grown Alchemist Polishing Exfoliator

Grown Alchemist Polishing Exfoliator (20ml) – a facial polishing exfoliant that removes dead cells for brighter, visibly smoother and more radiant skin. The formula features aloe extract, konjac root extract, and camellia seed oil. While I’m generally not a big fan of physical scrubs for the face, I didn’t find this one overly harsh. Additionally, I do love its earthy, refreshing scent.

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in Peach

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm in Peach (10g, worth £8.99 Full Size) – a rich, multi-tasking balm with lanolin designed to hydrate dry lips, skin patches, cuticles, and any other dry spots on the body. Lanolips has been my winter must-have brand for many years, and I’m always happy to find their products in beauty boxes.

Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner

Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner (75ml, worth £34.00 Full Size) – an essence toner formulated with cloudberry, CoQ10, collagen amino acids, oat amino acids,  cholesterol, cloudberry seed oil, rice bran extract, broccoli extract, Baikal skullcap extract, buchu extract, liquorice extract, and blackcurrant extract. I’ve tried this product before and enjoyed it. This toner isn’t very hydrating, but it does help brighten my skin, and it has a lovely lightweight texture that sinks in quickly. I find it to be a good product for summer.

NARS Light Reflecting Hydrating Primer (9ml)

NARS Light Reflecting Hydrating Primer (9ml) – a lightweight, hydrating face primer that enhances a natural glow. I’m looking forward to trying this product.

By Terry Cellularose CC Serum in Apricot Glow

By Terry Cellularose CC Serum in Apricot Glow (60ml, worth £61.00 Full Size) – a radiance-boosting primer that brightens and evens out skin tone. I had this product in Shade 2, Rose Elixir, and I really liked it. I wore it on its own for a flawless, no-makeup look. It is very lightweight and makes my skin look so glowy and fresh. So, I’m happy to receive it and look forward to trying a new shade.

Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye

Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye (5ml worth £7.97) – a quick-fix eye treatment that helps tighten, firm, and smooth the look of under-eye bags, fine lines, and wrinkles for a temporary effect. The formula includes peptides (dipeptide-2, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7), argan extract, alfalfa extract, fennel extract, comfrey extract, panthenol, hydrolyzed lupine protein, and HMC (hesperidin methyl chalcone). This one is an absolute miss for me. It dries out my under-eye area, feels way too tight, and leaves a noticeable white residue. I’d consider it more of a makeup under-eye primer than an eye treatment. Additionally, it has to be applied to completely dry skin, and you should avoid using any water-based products afterward, which includes nearly all makeup products.

OUAI Anti-Frizz Crème

OUAI Anti-Frizz Crème (30ml) – a hair treatment designed to protect against heat damage while keeping frizz under control. I really like this product. It has a lovely scent and leaves my hair looking silky smooth and frizz-free.
