Cult Beauty The Perfect Pout Edit 2025 Review
Recently, I got my hands on the Cult Beauty The Perfect Pout Edit, which was part of the much-anticipated Cheek & Lip Edits drop. The edit features 9 products worth over £150, which I’ll showcase below. Let’s see what’s inside, along with my thoughts on each item.
Sweed Le Lipstick (2.5g, worth £22.00, Full Size) – a balmy lipstick in the shade 90’s Model. It’s a browny-pink shade. I absolutely love this formula. The texture is beautifully smooth, it feels moisturising, and it leaves my lips looking plumped.
NARS Powermatte Lipstick (0.8g) – a matte lipstick in the shade Free Bird. It’s a peachy coral shade. It has a comfortable, non-drying formula with no noticeable taste or scent. The pigmentation is rich and gorgeous, offering great versatility and decent staying power.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry (8g, worth £8) – an overnight lip treatment enriched with shea butter, murumuru butter, coconut oil, and the vitamin C-rich Berry Mix Complex. I love how it leaves my lips feeling soft, smooth and healthy. I use it every evening, and it keeps them hydrated and plump.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Extreme (1.2g, worth £20.00, Full Size) – an intensely pigmented, waterproof lip liner in the shade Wherever Walnut. It’s a warm nude shade. It glides on beautifully and feels very creamy and comfortable on the lips. I love the shade, and it lasts very well, but it’s not waterproof.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution (1ml) – a matte lipstick in the Pillow Talk shade. It’s one of my go-to lipsticks, and I absolutely love it. I own it in several shades and love them all (Very Victoria is my all-time favourite). The formula is long-lasting and doesn’t leave my lips feeling dry.
Huda Beauty Faux Filler Extra Shine Lip Gloss (3.9ml, worth £19.00, Full Size) – a hydrating, non-sticky gloss in the clear shade Glassy. It gives a beautiful glossy finish, feels great on the lips, and isn’t sticky at all. I’m really impressed with the formula – it delivers on every claim. It’s hydrating, plumping, and very comfortable to wear.
Saie Lip Liner (1.4g worth, £18.00, Full Size) – a lip pencil with an ultra-blendable formula in the shade Flirt, which is a nude shade. As a fan of Saie products, I wasn’t disappointed. It blends well and has very good staying power — I only wish it were a bit more creamy.
SIMIHAZEBEAUTY Velvet Blur Mini Lip Balm (1g, worth £25.00, Full Size) – a cushiony, hydrating lipstick–balm hybrid in Moonblade, which is a deep, sophisticated plum shade. It has a comfortable creamy-matte texture and high pigmentation. It stays in place without being too drying. Unfortunately, the shade isn’t quite right for me.
Fenty Skin Fenty Treatz Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil in Kalahari Melon (5.6ml, worth £21.00, Full Size) – an ultra-hydrating lip oil enriched with sweet cherry seed oil, jojoba seed oil, rosehip oil, Barbados cherry and wild cherry extracts. I love this oil – it leaves my lips soft and smooth without feeling sticky.
