Cult Beauty The New Nineties Edit 2026 Review
In today’s post, I’m reviewing the Cult Beauty The New Nineties Edit, featuring seven products worth over £140. I had my eye on the Natasha Denona palette, so I couldn’t resist picking up the edit.
Natasha Denona Mini Eye Sculpt Palette in Cool (worth £26) – an all-matte eyeshadow palette with silky, pigmented formulas that sculpt and define eyes. I’m a big fan of Natasha Denona’s eyeshadow formula, and this palette was the main reason I picked up the box.
Kevyn Aucoin Precision Eye Definer in Black (worth £26, Full Size) – a creamy, smudge-proof gel eyeliner that delivers rich, intense pigment with a matte finish and up to 12 hours of wear.
Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara in Ultra Black (worth £18) – a mascara that lengthens and thickens the lashes, creating a dramatic, high-impact look with easy application. I love this mascara. It makes my lashes look longer with no smudging or clumping, and it’s easily buildable.
Laura Mercier Blurring Primer (30ml, Full Size, worth £38) – a makeup primer that helps minimise the appearance of pores and imperfections while keeping shine under control throughout the day. This is not an overly mattifying primer. It gives my skin a soft-focus finish that makes my base look smoother and more flawless, almost like a real-life filter. It also helps keep my skin balanced and controls shine without making it feel tight or dry.
MAC Lip Pencil in Cool Spice (Full Size, worth £20) – a lip liner in the shade Cool Spice, a soft neutral shade. It has a great formula that’s neither too dry nor too creamy. It glides smoothly over the lips and blends out beautifully. I really like it.
Vieve Bounce Balm in Grind (10ml, worth £19, Full Size) – a multi-use balm that intensely hydrates, restores and plumps the lips. It’s a lovely lip product with a non-sticky formula that feels comfortable to wear throughout the day. It strikes the perfect balance between a lip balm and a gloss, leaving my lips feeling hydrated and smooth while making them look fuller.
Morphe Bake & Set Powder (worth £8, 2.6g) – a lightweight, talc-free, finely milled, silky loose setting powder that helps absorb excess oil, smooth the look of pores and fine lines, and reduce flashback. I’ve seen so many positive reviews, so I’m really keen to try it.
