Cult Beauty The Founders’ Favourites Edit 2024 Review

Cult Beauty The Founders’ Favourites Edit 2024 Review

Recently, I got my hands on the Cult Beauty The Founders’ Favourites Edit 2024, and I’m excited to share my impressions. This edit includes 11 beauty products worth over £220, offering more than 80% savings. I’ve always been a fan of Cult Beauty’s edits and was very impressed with the selection of products in this box, so I grabbed it as soon as it was released.

Manifesto Beauty Vitamin Gummies

Manifesto Beauty Vitamin Gummies (14 gummies) – a chewable supplement for stronger hair, skin, and nails. Formulated with astaxanthin, biotin, inulin, and acai berries, these berry-shaped gummies are incredibly delicious. While the recommended dose is just two per day, it is very hard to limit yourself.

The Outset Nourishing Squalane Daily Moisturiser

The Outset Nourishing Squalane Daily Moisturiser (15ml) – a daily moisturiser featuring squalane, coconut oil, safflower oil, avocado oil, damson seed oil, senna polysaccharide, hops extract, sunflower extract, rice bran extract, seaweed extract, and edelweiss extract. I find it a bit too heavy for my combination skin during the summer, so I save it for winter.

Westman Atelier Eye Love You Eye Pencil in Kôhl Noir

Westman Atelier Eye Love You Eye Pencil in Kôhl Noir (1.14g worth £30.00) – an eyeliner pencil in matte black. The pencil applies easily, doesn’t smudge, and has good staying power. The colour is really nice too.

Shani Darden Retinol Reform

Shani Darden Retinol Reform (5ml worth £15.00) – a face serum formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while visibly firming and brightening the skin for a youthful glow. It includes encapsulated retinol, lactic acid, niacinamide, AQUAXYL™, apple extract, green tea extract, rice bran extract, plankton extract, phospholipids, soybean sterols, glucosamine, and probiotics. Seeing the impressive reviews, I’m excited to try this one.

KraveBeauty Makeup Re-Wined

KraveBeauty Makeup Re-Wined (100ml worth £25.00) – a transforming jelly oil cleanser formulated with sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil, pear extract, ivy extract, melon extract, iris extract, and rose water. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and refreshed without drying it out. It doesn’t remove all makeup effectively, so I prefer it for days when I’m wearing sunscreen or light makeup.

Tata Harper Water-Lock Moisturizer

Tata Harper Water-Lock Moisturizer (10ml) – a lightweight moisturiser for skin-smoothing, balanced hydration. The formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid, saccharide isomerate, barley leaf juice, pomegranate extract, orange blossom extract, arnica extract, baraga extract, calendula extract, alfalfa extract, meadowsweet extract, black elderberry extract, magnolia extract, and beetroot extract. I love this product. It works well on my combination skin, keeping it hydrated, plumped, and soft. The moisturiser has a not too heavy texture and a pleasant citrus scent.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Overnight Eye Serum

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Overnight Eye Serum (15ml worth £46.00) – an overnight eye serum designed to combat the signs of fatigue, minimise fine lines, and smooth the skin. The formula is enriched with squalane, ceramides, bisabolol, retinoids (retinol and retinyl linoleate), phospholipids, oat bran extract, licorice root extract, centella asiatica extract, and a blend of oils including borage, evening primrose, and rosehip. I’ve wanted to try this product for a while, so I was very excited to see it included in the edit. Considering the serum alone costs £46.00, it was a bargain.

Saie Mascara 101 in Black

Saie Mascara 101 in Black (5g) – a mascara that lifts, lengthens, and adds volume while conditioning lashes with rich nutrients. I received the same one from the Cult Beauty x Saie Edit a couple of weeks ago. It’s a really good mascara that doesn’t smudge or clump, so I don’t mind receiving a second one at all.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops

Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops (3ml) – an illuminating serum combining polygonum bistorta root extract, portulaca ferment extract, rose hip extract, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, sweet almond oil, and light-reflecting pigments. It absorbs quickly into the skin, providing a subtle glow. Although I’m glad I got to try this product, I don’t find it worth the price tag.

Hair by Sam McKnight Cool Girl Volume Blow Dry Foam

Hair by Sam McKnight Cool Girl Volume Blow Dry Foam (150ml worth £32.00) – a lightweight styling foam that provides volume, body, and shine. This product works perfectly for my fine coloured hair, giving a nice amount of volume. It provides medium hold, keeping my style in place all day without being sticky or crunchy.

Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA+AHA Salicylic Serum

Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA+AHA Salicylic Serum (10ml) – a gentle daily clarifying BHA+AHA serum. It smooths skin texture, clears pores, and targets breakouts while calming and hydrating the skin. I’ve used this product before and really enjoyed it. The serum has a lightweight formula that absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky. With regular use, I’ve noticed an improvement in my skin’s texture. It keeps my skin smooth and clear.
