Cult Beauty The Body Rituals Edit 2026 Review
Here is my review of the Cult Beauty Body Rituals Edit (worth over £130), the second of this year’s CB Christmas edits that I couldn’t resist picking up. The star of the box, and the main reason I bought it, is the full-size Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Body Spot Exfoliant, although there are a few other nice products too. So let’s take a closer look at what’s inside.
Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada ’48 Lotion (30ml) – a lightweight body lotion formulated with glycerin, sunflower seed oil, guava leaf extract, star fruit extract, xylitol, polyglycerin-6, and vitamin E. It’s a nice body lotion that’s great for summer.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Body Cream (50ml, worth £26) – a luxurious anti-ageing body moisturiser formulated with glycerin, sweet almond oil, wheat germ oil, shea butter, Saccharomyces ferment, padina pavonica extract, chlorella vulgaris extract, lactobacillus ferment, mimosa tenuiflora bark extract, rose flower extract, and collagen amino acids. This has been on my wishlist for a while, so I’m really happy to finally try it.
L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (30ml, worth £10) – a luxurious hand cream with 20% shea butter, formulated to moisturise and protect the skin from dryness. The formula also contains argan oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil. This has been my go-to hand cream for years, especially during the winter months. It does a great job of keeping my hands moisturised, and I absolutely love its rich yet non-greasy texture.
Nécessaire The Body Lotion Fragrance-Free (70ml) – a daily, fragrance-free, multi-peptide body lotion formulated with cacay oil, marula oil, meadowfoam oil, jojoba oil, fatty acids, niacinamide, and a blend of peptides: Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyroyl Hydroxythreonine, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1.
NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Shimmering Multi-Purpose Dry Oil (50ml, worth £24) – a shimmering multi-purpose dry oil formulated with macadamia oil, sweet almond oil, camellia seed oil, argan oil, borage oil, and sunflower oil. It smells lovely and leaves my skin with a subtle glow.
Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Bath and Shower Gel (100ml) – a bath and shower gel with notes of Sevillian orange, bergamot, mandarin, neroli, cardamom, galbanum, musk, ylang-ylang and cedarwood. I love a good scented shower gel, so I’m always happy to find Molton Brown products in beauty boxes and advent calendars.
Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Body Spot Exfoliant (210ml, Full Size, worth £35) – a leave-on body exfoliant formulated with 2% BHA to soften dry skin and help minimise the appearance of clogged pores. It’s intended for use on the arms, legs, and back, but can also be used to treat rough, bumpy skin all over the body. I’ve been wanting to try this treatment for a while, and the whole edit costs about the same as this exfoliant alone.
