Cult Beauty Summer Salon Kit 2026 Review

Welcome to my review of the Cult Beauty Summer Salon Kit. This goody bag is worth over £100 and features 11 products, which I’ll showcase below, along with the purchases I made to qualify for it.

OLAPLEX No.5 Moisturize & Mend Leave-In Conditioner (20ml) – a leave-in conditioner that helps seal split ends, leaving hair looking healthier and feeling softer while providing repair and protection from cortex to cuticle. I’ve wanted to try it since it launched, so I’m happy to see it included in the goody bag.

JVN Complete Pre-Wash Scalp Oil (5ml) – a pre-wash soothing and strengthening treatment oil formulated with turmeric oil, neem oil, bisabolol, rosemary extract, rice bran extract, squalane, sea buckthorn oil, coconut oil, and sunflower seed oil.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Deep-Conditioning Treatment (40ml) – a pre-shampoo conditioning treatment designed to improve hair’s elasticity, manageability, and shine. This has been part of my haircare routine for many years. It does a great job of keeping my hair smooth and manageable, so I’m always happy to find it in a goody bag.

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt (40ml) – a deeply cleansing shampoo scrub formulated with sea salt crystals. I’ve used this product many times, and it works wonderfully. It provides a deep cleanse, leaving my scalp feeling so clean and refreshed.

Maria Nila True Soft Argan Oil (30ml) – a nourishing argan oil that softens and moisturises the hair while reducing frizz. Unfortunately, it just does not work for my fine hair and leaves it looking greasy.

Amika The Kure Intense Strength Repair Mask (30ml) – a deeply hydrating hair mask designed to help repair and strengthen damaged hair while leaving it soft, smooth, and easy to manage. I’ve had a full size of this mask before and really enjoyed it. It leaves my hair soft, shiny, and easy to manage without weighing it down or making it feel greasy.

Larry King Hair A Social Life for Your Hair (30ml) – a versatile finishing cream designed to tame frizz, smooth flyaways, and add natural shine without weighing the hair down.

Fable & Mane Mahamane Detangling Leave-In Conditioner (50ml) – a lightweight detangling leave-in conditioner formulated with aloe vera, amla extract, hibiscus extract, hydrolysed quinoa, hydrolysed adansonia digitata seed extract, xylitol, and trehalose. This one is new for me, but I love trying new leave-in conditioners, so I’m curious to see how it performs.

Innersense I Create Hold Styling Gel (59ml) – a honey-based styling gel that provides structured hold and healthy shine. Best suited to curly and tightly coiled hair.

• Sachajuan Scalp Shampoo (50ml) – a hair-hydrating shampoo that helps to reduce the look of flakes. The formula is enriched with climbazole, piroctone olamine, salicylic acid, and oat oil. I genuinely love this shampoo. It helps soothe my scalp when it’s flaring up and leaves my hair feeling clean and fresh.
• Sachajuan Scalp Conditioner (50ml) – a scalp and hair conditioner formulated to help remove dry skin and nourish both the scalp and hair. The formula contains piroctone olamine, climbazole, hydrolysed wheat protein, oat oil, ginger extract, menthol, and salicylic acid.
