Cult Beauty Chasing The Sun Edit 2026 Review
I’m back with a review of the Cult Beauty Chasing Sun Edit (worth over £185), which I mainly picked up for the full-size Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense serum. The edit is basically priced the same as the serum with 30% off, which is rare for Medik8, and there was an extra 15% off on top, so I couldn’t resist.
Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense (30ml, worth £60, Full Size) – an advanced hyaluronic acid serum for intense hydration. The formula features hyaluronic acid, panthenol, antioxidants, and NMFs (sodium PCA, glycerin, urea, proteins, sugars, 15 different amino acids, lactic acid, and creatine). This is a really great serum for my skin. I love how it instantly hydrates and plumps.
Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Rejuvenating Cream Rich (5ml) – a rich cream powered by Korean ginseng actives and a ginseng peptide to support the skin’s self-rejuvenating ability and improve the appearance of wrinkles. I’ve seen so many positive reviews, so I’m really keen to try it.
Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF30 Original (10ml) – a glow-enhancing sunscreen enriched with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and panthenol. I’ve tried this product before and already reviewed it. Unfortunately, it didn’t become a favourite for me.
SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic (4ml) – a face serum that helps boost radiance for a brighter, firmer-looking complexion. The formula contains vitamin C (ascorbic acid), ferulic acid, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin. I’m a bit hesitant about this one, as I have thin combination skin that doesn’t always tolerate L-ascorbic acid serums.
Allies of Skin The One Invisible Gel SPF50 (20ml, worth £27) – a transparent, water-resistant sunscreen with zero white cast. I know it has a lot of fans, but it doesn’t quite work for my combination skin. When I apply the proper amount (½ teaspoon), it leaves a silicone-like layer and doesn’t really sink in.
111SKIN Cryo De-Puffing Facial Mask (worth £20) – a cooling face mask that helps diminish the look of puffiness and discolouration. The formula is enriched with glucose, hyaluronic acid, allantoin, seaweed extracts (Undaria pinnatifida, Corallina officinalis), caffeine, glucosyl hesperidin, CoQ10, peptides (nonapeptide-1, acetyl tetrapeptide-5), and hydrolysed collagen. The brand’s masks deliver great results, but they’re not cheap, so I’m always happy to find them in beauty boxes and goody bags.
Sol de Janeiro Body Badalada Vitamin Infused Body Lotion (30ml) – a fast-absorbing daily body lotion infused with the brand’s signature Cheirosa 62 fragrance. I think it works best in warmer months or as a daytime body lotion, but it’s definitely not the most hydrating lotion I’ve tried.
Augustinus Bader The Sunscreen SPF50 (7ml) – a lightweight SPF 50 mineral sunscreen powered by TFC8® that protects against UVA and UVB rays, supports skin renewal, and reduces the visible signs of ageing. I’ve seen so many positive reviews, so I’m really curious to try it.
Ultra Violette Extreme Screen SPF50+ Hand and Body (30ml) – a sweat-safe, water-resistant sunscreen for the body and hands. The formula is enriched with aloe juice, saccharide isomerate, beeswax, and vitamin E. I’ve wanted to try this product for a while, so I was very excited to see it included in the edit.

thank you for sharing a review on this edit. Indeed, it’s worth just to get that Medik8 serum. I can see the 15% on top discount code is not working anymore – do you think it will be again working? I first thought it was will skip it, now also wanted to get my hands on it for the serum.
