Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 Review
Here’s my next sunscreen review, where I’ll be discussing the Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50. After putting it to the test, I’m ready to share my experience and whether it met my expectations.
The formula contains homosalate (which protects the skin against UVB rays), octocrylene (which protects the skin against UVB rays and some UVA II rays and enhances the photostability of avobenzone), ethylhexyl salicylate (also known as octisalate, which protects against UVB rays), and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (also known as avobenzone, which protects the skin against UVA rays).
It is also enriched with a blend of emollients and humectants such as beeswax, aloe leaf juice, and saccharide isomerate to soften and hydrate the skin.
The Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 has a smooth, creamy texture. It spreads easily on the skin and leaves no white cast. It wears well under makeup and doesn’t pill. Additionally, it has almost no scent.
For reference, I have combination skin that’s prone to breakouts during warmer months and around my period. This sunscreen doesn’t cause any breakouts or irritation, but it does occasionally sting my eyes.
The main issue I have with the Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 is that it’s too glowy for my combination skin, and it can feel a bit greasy at times. I don’t think it’s the best choice for oily skin, though it might be more suitable for dry skin.
Unfortunately, I didn’t become a fan of the Bondi Sands Sunscreen Lotion SPF50, and I’m not going to repurchase it. There are plenty of other options on the market that suit my combination skin better.
WHERE TO SHOP:
It’s okay, but a bit too greasy for me, so I gave it to my husband. He has dry, flaky skin and it works beautifully for him 😁
