Biossance Probiotic Gel Moisturiser Review
Welcome to my review of the Biossance Probiotic Gel Moisturiser, a hydrating cream designed to calm redness and soothe skin. Here’s my honest take on this product and whether it met my expectations.

The formula contains a blend of glycerin, red algae, allantoin, hyaluronic acid, and cress salad extract to hydrate the skin. Additionally, bisabolol, allantoin, chitosan, cress salad extract, and encapsulated probiotics help to soothe the skin and support a healthy skin microbiome.
A blend of squalane, soybean sterols, phospholipids, and linoleic acid helps prevent water loss, soften the skin, and support the skin barrier.

The Biossance Probiotic Gel Moisturiser has a very lightweight texture that quickly absorbs, leaving no greasy residue. It feels slightly cooling on application and leaves a natural, dewy finish. It also works really well under makeup. I didn’t experience any breakouts or adverse reactions while using it, just a very slight tingling sensation.

I used it as a night cream in autumn, and it worked well for my combination skin, leaving it silky smooth and hydrated. However, I wouldn’t rely on it alone if you have dry skin, especially in the colder months. Those with dry skin may need to apply an extra moisturiser on top.

All in all, the Biossance Probiotic Gel Moisturiser is a lovely basic hydrator. I like how easily it layers with pretty much anything, with no pilling or adverse reactions. I think it’s well worth the investment, and I’d happily repurchase it.
