BIOEFFECT EGF Serum Review

BIOEFFECT EGF Serum Review

This time, I’m bringing you a review of the BIOEFFECT EGF Serum. It supports the skin’s natural collagen production and helps keep it smooth, firm, and healthy. I’ve been using this serum on and off for around six or seven years, and it’s time to talk about what makes it stand out.

BIOEFFECT EGF Serum

The formula contains EGF (epidermal growth factor) extracted from barley stem cells. It replicates natural EGF by boosting cell renewal, supporting the skin’s natural collagen production, increasing firmness, improving skin density, and minimising the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, helping to keep the skin looking smooth and healthy. Additionally, the formula contains a blend of hyaluronic acid, Icelandic water, and glycerin to help keep the skin hydrated.

BIOEFFECT Serum Review

The BIOEFFECT EGF Serum has a texture similar to a hyaluronic acid serum, but it’s thicker and almost a little oily. It feels a bit sticky on the skin. You only need a small amount of product, so a little goes a long way. I’ve never had any adverse reactions while using it.

According to the brand, fatty/oily substances in traditional night creams may reduce the efficacy of the Barley EGF. Because of that, they suggest either using it alone at night or waiting 10 to 20 minutes before applying the next step in your routine. I’d also recommend using EGF separately from AHA, BHA, or vitamin C, applying them on different days or at different times of the day.

BIOEFFECT Serum

The BIOEFFECT EGF Serum instantly hydrates my skin, leaving it feeling soft and looking plumper. It also makes my skin feel more resilient and firmer. After using it, my skin looks more radiant, my tone appears slightly more even, and it looks healthy overall. I also noticed a visible improvement in the lines on my forehead.

I’m using the EGF Serum at the moment, and it’s very hydrating. Because of this, I prefer using it in the colder months. I think it might be too much for some skin types, especially during the warmer weather. I have combination skin and only apply a small amount, yet it can still feel sticky on my skin. For those with oily skin, you might not need to apply a moisturiser on top. However, for dry skin, it’s a great option.

BIOEFFECT EGF Review

Overall, the BIOEFFECT EGF Serum works great for my skin, and I’ll definitely continue to use it.
