Benton Skin Fit Mineral Sun Cream SPF 50 Review
I’m back with another review, and this time, I want to share my thoughts on the Benton Skin Fit Mineral Sun Cream SPF 50. Let’s take a closer look at this product and find out whether it’s worth trying or not.
The active ingredient in this mineral sunscreen is zinc oxide. It also contains a blend of emollients and humectants such as panthenol, niacinamide, and inositol to hydrate and soften the skin. Additionally, a blend of adenosine, panthenol, asiatic acid, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, madecassoside, calamine, niacinamide, and dipotassium glycyrrhizate (derived from licorice) soothes the skin. Asiatic acid, asiaticoside, madecassic acid, madecassoside, niacinamide, and dipotassium glycyrrhizate provide antioxidant protection.
The Benton Skin Fit Mineral Sun Cream SPF 50 has a creamy texture that goes on smoothly. It gives a semi-matte finish that looks natural on skin. But it feels a bit heavy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin types. It sits nicely under makeup and doesn’t pill. The main downside for me is that it leaves a white cast, and it doesn’t go away at all, so I can’t wear this without makeup.
It also has a subtle rosemary scent that quickly fades after application.
For reference, I have combination skin that usually breaks out during the warmer months and around my period. This product doesn’t break me out. It also works great for my sensitive eyes. I can apply it near my eyes with no stinging or watering.
The Benton Skin Fit Mineral Sun Cream SPF 50 is not the best sunscreen I’ve used, tho. With so many better options out there, I wouldn’t repurchase.
WHERE TO SHOP:
I had hopes for this one and bought it too, but wow! Two fingers of this sunscreen leave a crazy white cast that doesn’t go away at all. Maybe if you’re really pale and have dry skin, it could work for you.
