Augustinus Bader The Serum Review
Today, I’d like to share my thoughts on Augustinus Bader The Serum, a luxurious hydrating serum designed to target the most common skin concerns, like dryness, signs of ageing, and environmental damage. Let’s go over the details and find out if it’s worth the investment.
The formula contains TFC8®, an exclusive blend of natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins, and peptides that are clinically shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, while edelweiss extract helps to firm the skin. It also includes a blend of humectants such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid, Aquaxyl (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol), glucose, and lecithin to keep the skin hydrated. Additionally, a blend of antioxidants including resveratrol, vitamin C (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate), pomegranate extract, green tea extract, edelweiss extract, and rice bran oil provides antioxidant protection and boosts luminosity. A blend of emollients and rice bran oil further moisturises and softens the skin.
Augustinus Bader The Serum has a milky, slightly viscous texture with no noticeable scent. It goes on smoothly, feels lightweight, and sinks into the skin instantly.
Augustinus Bader The Serum leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soft, and a bit plumper with a healthy-looking glow. You definitely need to layer it with something else for extra hydration during the autumn and winter months. The serum also doesn’t cause me any breakouts, irritation, or redness.
It really feels like a treat to use, especially knowing the price. However, I can’t say that I’ve noticed any dramatic difference in my skin. There are so many lovely hydrating serums that work better for my combination skin and don’t cost a fortune.
Overall, I wouldn’t repurchase Augustinus Bader The Serum because the results haven’t justified the price. Still, I’m looking forward to trying The Retinol Serum from the brand and hope it works better for me.
