April 2026 Beauty Haul
Welcome to my new post, where I’ll be showcasing my April 2026 beauty haul.
Trinny London The Elevator* – a neck cream designed to lift sagging skin, smooth and firm the neck and décolleté, and help prevent dark spots. The formula contains a blend of emollients, including triheptanoin, sunflower seed oil, and sea buckthorn oil, which soften the skin and help reduce moisture loss. Encapsulated alpha-arbutin helps prevent and visibly fade dark spots, while a blend of cocoa extract, sea buckthorn oil, alpha-arbutin, and vitamin E provides antioxidant protection. Hydrolysed wheat gluten, glycerin, and mannitol hydrate the skin. I really like this product. I’ve noticed that my skin feels smoother since I started using it, and it’s definitely helped to soften my fine lines.
Trinny London BFF SPF 30 Cream in Lightest* – a skin-perfecting cream with SPF 30. It feels lightweight and smooth, and makes my skin look fresher, a little brighter and smoother.
Trinny London Eye2Eye* – a cream eyeshadow in Justice, a soft neutral shell shade, Wisdom, a neutral taupe, Magician, a pewter bronze, and Virtue, a soft champagne shade.
VT Caffeine Eye Patch – eye patches infused with niacinamide, glycerin, hydrolysed collagen, collagen derivatives, hydroxy pinacolone retinoate, adenosine, vitamin K, a peptide complex, glutathione, and caffeine. I love the idea of 360° eye patches, so I was curious to try them.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Flushed Edit – a limited edition blush palette featuring four shades: Luminous Glow (a peach champagne), Brilliant Nude (a deep amber), Coral Haze (a pink coral), and Mood Exposure (a soft plum). I’m a huge fan of Hourglass blushes, and Mood Exposure is one of my all-time favourite shades. I actually left my palette with that shade at a hotel while travelling, so I’m more than happy to pick this beauty up.
U Beauty The BARRIER Bioactive Mist* – a new serum mist for moisture barrier support, environmental defence, and dewy hydration. The formula contains hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, fatty acids, postbiotics, ectoin, NAD, acetyl zingerone, and vitamin C.
GLOSSYBOX Easter Egg – a limited-edition beauty box. I couldn’t resist getting it with 30% off to add another tube of Medik8 Crystal Retinal to my stash.
YLW Discovery Kit* – a set featuring the Day Cream (15ml), Day Pill (7 days), Night Cream (15ml), and Night Pill (7 days). I think this set is a great way to get to know the brand.
YLW Night Cream* – a night cream that is clinically proven to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and under-eye bags. The formula contains glycerin, hyaluronic acid, sodium PCA, PCA, sodium lactate, betaine, amino acids, oat kernel oil, chia seed oil, almond, borage, linseed, olive acids/glycerides, magnesium carboxymethyl beta-glucan, plankton extract, and chlorella extract. It moisturises really well and feels lovely on the skin.
YLW Day Cream* – a lightweight day cream formulated with a microbiome complex of prebiotics and postbiotics, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, betaine, sodium PCA, sodium lactate, niacinamide, PCA, plankton extract, a sugar complex (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol, sucrose), and amino acids (serine, alanine, glycine, glutamic acid, lysine HCl, threonine, arginine, and proline). It mimics the skin’s natural moisturising factors and helps improve long-term hydration balance. This cream feels hydrating enough for my combination skin and leaves it feeling soft and healthy-looking.
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm with Professional Cleansing Cloth* – a cleansing balm enriched with grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower seed oil, lecithin, sea fennel extract, moringa seed extract, and vitamins C and E. I’ve purchased this balm many times and absolutely love it. This one is going into my stash for now, although I doubt it’ll stay there for long.
Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Blush Balm Lip Tint in Blushed Jam and Pillow Talk Medium – a sheer three-in-one lipstick, balm, and tint that leaves lips feeling hydrated, soft and naturally flushed. I picked the shade Blushed Jam, a sheer blushed mulberry, and Pillow Talk Medium, a sheer neutral cool rose. The formula feels lightweight and goes on smoothly. It’s very comfortable to wear and feels buttery on the lips. I like that it gives a glossy finish and a soft wash of colour.
Aromatherapy Associates Calm Confidence Bath & Shower Oil* – a new moisturising bath and shower oil infused with an empowering scent of blue tansy, jasmine, and sandalwood. As a big fan of Aromatherapy Associates bath & shower oils, I couldn’t resist adding this one to my collection. I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m really looking forward to it.
SUQQU Complexion Face Color 02 – a liquid blush that gives a natural-looking flush of colour. It has a beautiful, creamy formula that blends like a dream and doesn’t feel greasy. And you can easily build it up until you get your desired intensity.
Medik8 Niacinamide Peptides* – an advanced serum designed to reduce the look of breakouts, enlarged pores and impurities. The formula contains 10% niacinamide, acetyl glucosamine, zinc PCA, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, carnosine, and peptides. I love Medik8’s niacinamide serums, so I was keen to try it. I’ve only just started using it, but so far I’m enjoying it.
Hourglass Unreal Liquid Highlighter in Divine – a hydrating liquid highlighter designed to lift and firm the appearance of cheeks. It gives the skin such a lovely soft glow. It blends easily and looks radiant without being glittery.
MERIT Signature Lipstick in Millennial – a lightweight, non-drying lipstick with buildable colour that feels like nothing on the lips. I love how it looks, but it doesn’t last very long.
Davines This is a Volume Boosting Mousse – my favourite volume-boosting mousse that creates long-lasting, full-bodied looks. It works really well on my fine hair and adds amazing volume without any crunch, leaving my hair looking fuller.
PICKI NIKI Filtered Shower Head with Vitamin C Healthier Hair* – a showerhead with two filters: one in the handle to trap sediment, rust, and dirt, and another in the head to reduce hard water and chlorine. I’ve been using it for two weeks, and my hair feels smoother and shinier, with less dryness and frizz.
