Alpha-H High Tide Water Cream Review
Hi everyone! I’m back with another review, and this time, it’s all about the Alpha-H High Tide Water Cream, a lovely, light moisturiser that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed using. So, without further ado, let’s get into the details.
The formula contains a blend of humectants such as glycerin, betaine, panthenol, AQUAXYL™ (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, and xylitol), trehalose, erythritol, hyaluronic acid, urea, glucose, serine, and hibiscus extract. A blend of malachite extract, hibiscus extract, and Australian native river mint also provides antioxidant protection. Panthenol and allantoin help to soothe sensitivity, while squalane helps reduce transepidermal water loss and support the skin’s lipid barrier function.
The Alpha-H High Tide Water Cream has a gorgeous, silky-smooth gel-cream texture and a baby blue colour. It feels slightly thicker on the skin than an average gel moisturiser but not heavy at all. It absorbs instantly, leaving no greasy or sticky residue, and works well under makeup without pilling. The cream also has a light, natural scent that’s quite unique and reminds me of roasted almonds.
The Alpha-H High Tide Water Cream leaves my skin feeling plump and hydrated without making it oily or greasy. I especially love how soothing and cooling it feels when I apply it. As someone with combination skin, I find this works perfectly for my evening routine in warmer months. It never causes breakouts or irritation. It delivers sufficient hydration for my skin, but I’m not sure if someone with dry skin would find it hydrating enough, especially in colder months.
Overall, I think the Alpha-H High Tide Water Cream is a really good product, and I’ll definitely repurchase it next summer. It checks all the boxes for me, and I can recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight yet effective moisturiser.
