Allies of Skin Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream Review

This time, I’m sharing my experience with the Allies of Skin Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream. I love Allies of Skin, and I’ve enjoyed almost every product I’ve tried from the brand. So when I was looking for a new eye cream, I decided to give this one a try.

The formula contains a blend of humectants, including glycerin, that helps retain moisture. A blend of 2% squalane, tribehenin, rosehip seed oil, baobab seed oil, argan kernel oil, and other emollients helps soften the skin and reduce moisture loss, while a 3% ceramide complex and an omega complex (rosehip seed oil, baobab seed oil, and argan kernel oil) help support the skin barrier.
Additionally, a blend of sodium ascorbyl phosphate (a stable vitamin C derivative), licorice root extract, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, chrysin, N-hydroxysuccinimide, Bioskinup™ Contour 3R, Orchistem™, and copper lysinate/prolinate helps reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles while providing antioxidant protection. Other antioxidants, including coenzyme Q10, superoxide dismutase, ergothioneine, rosehip seed oil, bakuchiol, and vitamin E, also provide antioxidant protection. A blend of bisabolol, allantoin, and licorice root extract helps soothe the skin and reduce irritation.
A peptide complex consisting of Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, and N-Prolyl Palmitoyl Tripeptide-56 Acetate helps support collagen production and improve skin firmness. Chrysin helps reduce the appearance of dark circles, while 3% Eyeliss™ (a blend of Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, Dipeptide-2, and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7) helps reduce the appearance of under-eye bags and smooth the eye contour.
The Allies of Skin Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream has a pleasant, lightweight texture. It glides smoothly without dragging the delicate eye area and sinks in quickly, leaving no greasy or oily residue. It also sits well under makeup without pilling and has no noticeable scent, which is great. The pump applicator works well and dispenses the right amount of product.
While it’s not a miracle worker, I definitely noticed a difference while using it. It softened the appearance of my fine lines and made my under-eye area look firmer and tighter. It also helped smooth the skin’s texture and left my under-eyes looking brighter and more refreshed.
This cream fits perfectly into my morning routine thanks to its lightweight texture. However, I wouldn’t call it the most hydrating eye cream I’ve tried. I usually like to layer it with an eye serum or eye oil, especially during colder weather. I also think it could work well for younger skin or for anyone living in a warmer climate.
To sum it up, the Allies of Skin Peptides & Omegas Firming Eye Cream is a really nice product. As with everything I’ve tried from the brand, it does make a difference with regular use.
