Allies of Skin Azelaic and Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum Review
I’m back with another review, and today, I want to discuss the Allies of Skin Azelaic and Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum, formulated with 10% azelaic acid. Let’s go over the details and find out if it’s worth the investment.
The formula contains 10% azelaic acid to help reduce blemishes, fade pigmentation, refine uneven skin texture, and calm visible redness in rosacea-prone skin. Additionally, a blend of aloe leaf juice, allantoin, bisabolol, and liquorice extract hydrates and soothes the skin. The ribose, liquorice and bakuchiol complex helps prevent early signs of ageing and supports a more radiant, healthy-looking complexion.
A 3% hexylresorcinol complex works to neutralise free radicals, clarify the skin, brighten dull areas, and promote a more even tone. A blend of emollients, including sunflower seed oil and squalane, softens the skin and helps prevent moisture loss. 1% kojic acid helps to brighten, provide antioxidant protection, and visibly reduce the appearance of redness and blemish marks.
The Allies of Skin Azelaic and Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum has a lightweight, watery texture. It feels slightly sticky right after application, but it quickly sinks in. It layers well with other skincare and doesn’t pill. The serum is fragrance-free and has no noticeable scent.
I have thin combination skin, which makes it challenging to find products that are both effective and not too harsh. This serum checks all the boxes for me, as it works well without feeling irritating or stripping my skin.
I used this serum 2-3 times a week, and after just a week, I noticed my skin looked much smoother, and the overall skin quality improved. I honestly didn’t expect to like this product this much. It makes my skin smoother, gives it a healthy dewy glow, and evens out my tone. Additionally, it helps keep blemishes at bay and reduces redness.
I’m a big fan of Allies of Skin. Some products easily become staples in my routine, though there are others I’m not really into. This serum has been great for my skin, and I’ll definitely repurchase it.
